Four pillars. Every dimension of life. All at once. Because real transformation isn't linear — and a strong life isn't found, it's built.

NOT PHASES. PILLARS.

THE FOUNDATION FRAMEWORK

Little green seedling growing in dark soil with blurred green and light background.

Most sober living programs move residents through a series of phases — earn privileges, advance levels, graduate out. It's a system built around compliance.

Foundation takes a fundamentally different approach. The Foundation Framework works on four dimensions simultaneously — because that's how real life works.

Recovery is not something you find. It is something you build.

RECOVERY BUILT ON PILLARS. NOT PHASES.

WHY IT’S DIFFERENT

WHAT FOUNDATION IS BUILT ON.

THE FOUR PILLARS

Our vision is to redefine sober living by creating communities where recovery, structure, and opportunity come together to build lasting change.

We envision a future where individuals are not limited by their past, but empowered to create meaningful lives through safe housing, active recovery, and personal growth.

By strengthening one pillar at a time, we aim to build lives marked by sobriety, independence, leadership, and lasting success.

STABILITY

01

POUR THE FOUNDATION

Safe, structured housing with established curfew and house rules

At least four recovery meetings per week (AA, NA, SMART Recovery, or equivalent)

Identification of a sponsor, mentor, or accountability partner

48-hour orientation period upon arrival

Stability establishes the base for both sobriety and structure. Before growth can happen, residents need a safe environment, a daily routine, and an initial connection to recovery.

Without stability, neither recovery nor growth can take hold.

ACCOUNTABILITY

02

STRENGTHEN THE STRUCTURE

Consistent meeting attendance and active recovery program work

Regular engagement with sponsor or mentor

Employment maintained or actively sought within 14 days

Program fees paid on time each Friday

Accountability is where commitment becomes action. This pillar focuses on ownership of both recovery and daily life — consistency, personal responsibility, and discipline.

Accountability is where commitment becomes action.

GROWTH

03

BUILD THE FRAMEWORK

Progress in step work and expansion of sober network

Stable employment and financial literacy development

Budgeting, saving, and building toward independence

Setting and tracking short- and long-term personal goals

Growth is where residents actively build their future while strengthening recovery. The focus shifts to long-term planning, financial independence, and personal development.

Growth is where recovery begins to translate into real life success.

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP

04

ELEVATE OTHERS

Community Leadership is the capstone pillar. Residents focus on giving back, mentoring newer housemates, and preparing for a successful transition to independent living.

Mentorship of newer residents within the home

Service roles and sponsorship within the recovery community

Preparation for independent living and long-term stability

Leading by example in all house expectations

Leadership ensures your foundation continues to grow by helping others.
